Rick McKee and Tara Lowry have been photographing weddings together since 2001. As accomplished commercial and portrait photographers, they have taken these skills into the fast paced, ever changing world of weddings. Their approach to weddings is unique. Both believe that the wedding is about the bride and groom as well as the surrounding stories of the day and feel that their focus should be unobtrusive. But they recognize that some couples need a little guidance so this is accomplished by positioning couples using suggested movements. Capturing them in moments
not poses.
Rick and Tara work as a combination of a portrait artist and a photojournalist. With this winning combination, they are documenting weddings like few can.

Motion Photography

Rick McKee and Tara Lowry are pleased to announce that they are now offering motion pictures. Capturing wedding events on 24 fps digital film they are offering a multimedia experience new to the wedding industry. Capturing not only great still moments but capturing those moments in motion allows couples and families to reminisce about the wedding day with words spoken during the ceremony, memorable toasts and other important spoken moments. This offering is motion pictures intermixed with great still images to offer the best of both worlds viewable on a DVD system or iPod.
